Part of the LS rooms with a capacity of 200 persons, as well as the operating room in the basement No.4 were secured by the Wehrmacht (Reserve Hospital III) for 145 persons. This Abt. of the Reserve Hospital is located in the nearby pavilion VIII. 5.) Former Division Hospital, Block XII. These LS rooms are sufficient for the sick and the staff who are housed in these buildings. Under the long tract as well as under the Ignazius church, there are no further cellar rooms suitable for Ls-wecken. B) Nearer vicinity 1.) Church of St. John on the rock does not contain cellar rooms. 2.) Emaus Monastery: In it there are only expanded LS rooms for the sisters of the DRK. The ÖLSR located near the monastery. (Wenzelsgasse 2) is not considered for the accommodation of the followers of the hospital because of too great a distance. 3.) In the Institute of Physiological and Medical Chemistry of the German Karls University, after the expansion of the LS rooms required for the own institute (approximately 300 people) further suitable LS spaces could be prepared for approximately disabled people. The access to these LS-rooms could be made possible by Block Xb. 4.) In the Rarkanlagen des Karlsplatzes LS-Deckungsgräben are currently being built, of which a part with a capacity of 800 persons is intended for the hospitals. 67564 -3-
