Since 1937, Prof. Dr. Jan K a p r a s has held the chair of the National Council as the successor of the 33° Freemason Prof. B. N ě m e s. In the course of the government re-formation of January 1942 and the associated elimination of the Ka- pras, the latter quietly re-occupied the Presidency of the national council d ar d az without this being announced in the press. This replacement is only apparent from a confidential report of the National Council of 7.2.1942. It is then chaired by Prof. der Rechts Dr. J. D r a c h o v s k y a new, externally unstressed set of higher education teachers has been proposed, reinforced by representatives of various interest groups, primarily the High Noble (Prince Franz Sc h w a r z e n b e r g) and the Catholic Church. . 08esa
