45a of the Ministry of Education. Therefore, the expenditure for the German schools of Prague is financed from the budget of the Ministerium of Education, the cost of the Czech schools of the city of Prague. The representative of the primators promises that the transfer of the German schools into the administration of the city will have the same generous equipment for it as was previously given to the Czech schools. It is overlooked that, at this stage, such an extraordinary burden on urban finance is already emerging, and that in the future, expenditure on urban schools will have to be cut to the bare minimum. On the other hand, it is readily possible to require that in the budget of the Ministry of Education, the necessary material expenditure for the German schools should be allocated to a large number of posts, so that, independently of the use of urban finance for other purposes and the savings for the urban school system, German schools will, in any case, be provided with resources tailored to their needs. It would also seem more advantageous if the city continued to provide the funds from the resources which were already shrinking for these purposes, provided digiSo far for the design and maintenance of other German institutions such as the German kindergartens, school homes, apprenticeship homes, music schools, etc. Since the staff and material expenses are paid out of state resources, there is no reason for the present circumstances to impose the material expenses on another institution. In addition, there are provisions to transfer the entire education system in the Protectorate to the rich's own administration in the foreseeable future, so that it seems inappropriate at this moment to bring about a change in the present situation. 63080 2.Blatt
