English Translation

We would like to thank you, President-in-Office of the Council, above all, for your rare kindness and for the understanding with which you have supported us in the past year in carrying out our duties. We are aware that this second year of our government activity will be marked by further, even greater tension among the forces of the Empire and that the Czech people, as far as their duties to the rich are concerned, must not be left behind in this effort. That is why we, too, want to continue our efforts to achieve the objectives which you, President-in-Office of the Council, showed us a year ago and which we presented in our declaration of government at the time, and the ever-increasing understanding of the Czech people for its true advantage will be a powerful incentive to us in this of our activities. /:German:/ Allow me, President-in-Office, to conclude my speech with the expressions of my firm hope that, under your wise leadership, the government will be able to fully comply with its pledges to the kingdom and to our people.
