Catholic broadcasts of the radio stations of the Protectorate government. The long-standing desire of Czech Catholics for fluchio des Staotsfchretñes belm regular Catholic radio broadcasts was naturally not fulfilled by the well-known attitude of the Czechoslovak government in the first Reichsprotehtor in Bebmes mndt years of the republic. It was only in connection with the great Prague Catholic Day(l935) that Catholic radio broadcasts became more frequent, but the further framework was still missing, the regular Sunday broadcasts were missing. With the fall of the Benesh system there was gradually a fundamental change: regular Catholic broadcasts were introduced on a broader scale - this new arrangement, which was prepared shortly before the establishment of the Protectorate, was subsequently maintained and finally extended. Characteristic of the new regulation is above all the Catholic broadcasts on every Sunday and public holiday, which run over all channels of the Protectorate government, while the Katholic workday broadcasts are usually only sent from Prague. The Sunday broadcasts are intended partly to supplement the church visit, partly to enable those who have been prevented from attending the church to participate in the divine service. The first purpose is the quarter-hour Catholic morning celebration, which opens the Sunday broadcast of the Czech radio. The "Father of Ours" and "Ave Maria" follow the reading of a homily from the Church Fathers, the apt day evange- ium and a church song. The whole thing is intended as an atmosphere in the relevant Sunday of the church year. - In the further course of the day before, a quarter of an hour of so-called "Christian doctrine" follows, which represents an on Sunday continuous religious instruction.-The most important part of the Sunday program, which in earlier years was only brought once in a while, is the daily transmission of a daily Mass from any Catholic church in Bohemia or Moravia. The form of the transferred celebration is changing:Measurements with Czech C S.ivP-1/39
