English Translation
-2- /CC Locals; at the toll booths of the city of Prague the leaflets were distributed to all permanent drivers, at the stations to the arriving passengers. In the province the distribution - sometimes also placating - happened the following daymx. The division into Moravia was carried out by mediation of the opposition group of the Moravian fascists, who had covered all Moravian territory for a few hours under a large insert of motor vehicles. Already during the distribution the various echoes could be observed on the flyer: the inscription and the slogans lured to read. On the streets one saw to the greater part indignant faces; in the coffee houses, where the recipients could take the time to read through, one heard often agreeing euphorias. In the countryside one found especially places as appropriate and good, in which the inactivity, even malice of the official Czech places criticizes#. The many letters that Mr. Velinský received in the following days are, to a greater extent, insults and threatening letters. (Anonymous) There are also no positive statements, such as "...... they cite facts that we can only agree with. It is necessary that we find the most friendly relationship with the kingdom......" etc. We have let different sounds fakn us their opinion about the text of the sheet. An opinion dominates and should be taken into account in the publication of another flyer=: that it does not make much sense - at least in the present situation - to inform the Czechs about the positive aspects of the empire and the movement; they are instinctively opposed to such an explanation and propaganda blows of this kind then miss the desired success. On the contrary, it is necessary to repeatedly point out the inability, malice, understanding=lessness and inactivity of the currently leading Czech personalities, and in this way to subvert the people's trust in the current government and the NS committee=.
