?4 People's singing, so-called "liturgical" fairs, celebratory high or pontifical offices. Usually in connection with the Mass, the transmission of a sermon or exhortation takes place every day. At high times, this regular Sunday and holiday program is supplemented by the transfer of special ecclesial celebrations, religious concerts or religious folk customs. The weekday programmes take place on different afternoons or evenings and offer mostly teaching lectures on topics taken from moral theology, dogmatics or church history. - In order to guarantee a complete harmonizing of the catholic radio broadcasts with the ecclesial wishes, the design of the programme is almost entirely left to the corresponding work place of the Czech Catholicity. - A picture of the wide development of the Catholic and radio programmes can be made if one considers, for example, that in December l939 alone forty-one Catholic radio programmes were included in the programme of the Prague station.
