bh for public purposes, etc. The task of the ground anteJ The lack of ties with a clearly out-of-court political service already raises a number of difficult questions which prevent the conduct of an active popular policy. In this context, the following points are made: 1) The Judiciary Group at the Reichsprotektor made it clear in a report dated 13 June 1940 that the interim management of the Land Office is a German special service; however, the Office of the Reich's Protector has not yet made this clear statement. The Czechs therefore regard the Land Office as a department of the autonomous government, which is integrated into the administrative apparatus of the Protectorate, but not into a German department. Therefore, there are still complaints of the commissioner's head to the Czech Supreme Administrative Court. Concerns are raised against the transfer of land for settlement purposes to the Land Office. If legal disputes with former Czech owners arise from the acquisition of the land to the land office, these disputes must be settled before the courts of the Pro- tectorate. 2) Until recently, in particular, the food and agriculture sector has been represented by the Stendpunkt that the Land Office - since it is not a German department - is not allowed to acquire land itself in order to form a soil reserve for an active popular policy. On the other hand, it is absolutely necessary to prepare the future ground policy work in such a way that free ground can be transferred to the property of the Land Office.
