It is subject to the risk of diseases arising from poor nutrition and qualitative malnutrition. Therefore, the Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabriken had to solve this problem according to the seriousness of the situation. Calorie requirements were calculated, a distribution plan for breakfast and lunch was set up, and all steps were taken so that the following could be given food in suitable environment. Apart from the establishment of the new workers' dining rooms, the existing premises were prepared and enlarged. By carefully putting together the menu, the company ensures that the food changes and, during a week, contains all the nutritional and protective substances that the human organism needs to maintain good health. In cooperation with scientific and health institutions, the main questions of economical food preparation of the possible substitute and representative capacity of various raw materials were solved, tables were prepared with regard to food processing according to their parts, which form an irreplaceable part of the food, except for egg, mine, vitamins and other time-related nutritional questions. The results obtained during one year are remarkable.
