6 - 4 - When I hear today that the last provisional levy for the Coburg property was lo4 million kroner and the takeover price on 24 March 1 928 about 130 million kk., I hear this for the first time. It seems almost impossible to me, but I abstain from any criticism. If I am told that during the negotiations with the Coburgers in the Land Office this wealth levy was played out as a means of pressure, I cannot say anything about this because of total ignorance of these things. If I am told that a statement by a Czech lawyer is available before the District Court of Vienna, which proves something quite different from what I have just said in the Coburg affair, namely, that of the lawyer Dr. Kyjovski in Brno from the year l933, I ask for the reading of this statement. Dr. Vozenilck will preempt the statement. He explains: In this statement one has to distinguish between the statements made in the office of the Council of Ministers to Kyjovski and the one I made to him later. If I am told that in this statement of Kyjovski exactly the Gogen part of what I said at the beginning of this interrogation and that I do not find a word of it in the statement of Cyjovsky that one wanted to leave to the Coburgers a substantial part of their possession, I explain this by saying that Kyjivski obviously only left out about the final stage of the negotiations. I don't want to accuse Dr. Kyjovski of lying, but I have to say that one sagon, in all the innumerable negotiations of the Bodon Office with the representatives of the princes, has taken out the bad stance. I believe that Kyyovski has left himself too far behind in the sharpness of the retribution ctwas. Mr Kyjovski explained that the pressure of the reggioration was very sharp and then mine, so this only confirms that I followed the orders of the Council of Ministers cben. I had no criticism of the resolutions of the European Council.
