10 - 8 - I cannot remember that I was told the true reasons for the conclusion of this post-dohoda. Perhaps the lawyers have presented this to me as a purely formal matter without any materiollon background in writing, if they had told me the least of them, as Novak houtc himself admits, I would have refused my submission. In purely legal matters, however, as a non-specialist, I never put myself above the opinion of moine retorts. I don't know why the price of 1928 was not deposited for the legal distribution. I didn't have to worry about it either. After the meeting with the Secretary of State Frank, in which the Coburger comparison offer was available, I was called to the Council of Ministers with Novak and Rezim. There, Mr. Novak and Mr. Razim described the procedure of the Land Office as completely legal, as regards the takeover, against which they rejected the vision and responsibility for the damage caused by the wealth tax, by forcible charges and by the Hodze-Weiden-Aktion as overriding the Land Authority. They did not meet the Land Department. I too have listened to these remarks by the two gentlemen when I am being asked to say that Dr. Razim, in his amendment, said that he had even declared to the Council of Ministers that these damages were indisputably not to be borne by the Coburgers, but that they could be met by other authorities, I declare: I have not heard this statement. I admit, however, that the three of us have been talking in the same spirit and have also come to the conclusion that it would be best to make order with don Coburgern. I did not share our opinion with the Council of Ministers, but I did agree with members of the Council, i.e. Dr Feicrabend. I would like to point out to the Commissioner that the Commission has not been able to take a decision on this matter, but that it has not yet been possible to reach a decision in the Council of Ministers on this point.
