From this conviction, the Prague German theological faculty, which is already in its geographical position in the first place considered, has for a long time begun to pay greater attention to the question of Germanism in the south-eastern region. Their representatives sought to gain a clearer insight into the situation of things through study on the spot, to establish personal relationships with decisive persons of public and ecclesial life and, above all, to create a more active and, if possible, regular relationship between them.
