79 - 2 - She tried with satisfactory success to secure the German priestly offspring for the Protectorate. She created for her audience among important personal and material victims a convoy, which is temporarily and only urgently housed in Prague - Veitsberg, Dvorakova 22. There the audience of the faculties is formed by folk educators in a manner corresponding to the German people. The faculty was constantly striving to alleviate the material plight of the mostly unmediated ethnic German theologians as much as possible. Furthermore, the introduction and design of the German divine service was promoted to the best of its ability. All of these efforts constitute a valuable asset in a country-wide way, because at least for the time being it was possible to preserve historically acquired positions of Germanism within the protectorate limits in a often hopelessly seeming struggle, and at all times firmly established, from permanent loss, and because they contributed in their way to the further disintegration of the ground-based German ethnic group, which is indispensable for the national construction of the protectorates. A second, no less important field of activity for the Prague German theological faculty is the Sudetengau. Sudet German Catholicism has always maintained its spiritual profile and religious orientation through the German theology faculty in Prague. This applies not only to those parts of the people which are directly attached to the Prague Archbishop's chair, but also with certain restrictions from those who, mostly in a strong minority relationship with the Slavic population, were grouped into independent administrative districts.
