4V OF THE PROTECTION PROTECTOR AND MATERIALS Dept. Ic/pol. No. 583/41.Go. Geheiivi! Betr.: Reporting in the Protectorate. Reference: Ordinance of the Imperial Protector v.l8.6.41. and W.B. IC/pol No. 182/40g v.3o.12.40. With effect from 1.7.4l, the decree of the Reich Protector of the l8.6.4l enters into force in the field of reporting. Reporting authority is the Protectorate Police. According to § 2 of this Ordinance (Appendix), members of the Wehrmacht are exempt from this reporting obligation for the duration of the war. This reporting obligation is set up by the St.O. commando- natures or by the SanktO. Elders are: l.) Soldiers and family members living with them in a common household, 2.) Wehrmacht officials and members of their families living with him in a shared household, 3.) Werausmacht following members of the armed forces, as per § 35 of the Wehrgesetz. during the duration of the war are subject to the Wehrgesetzen, and their family members, insofar as they live with them in a single household. B) Excluded from any obligation to report are: 1.) Soldiers who are cashed or in closed Wehr- 2.) Wehrmacht officials, power shelters kasernen- 3.) Werausmacht-gefolg, members as e.g. in schools. 4.) marching parts of the troops, which pass by an assigned accommodation (also private quarters) to them, 5.) travelling through individual members of the Wehrmacht, for a stay of not more than 48 hours. (The obligation to register in the hotel's guestbook is not affected by this, but it is not permitted to register the rank and/or service of the host country) (it must therefore be entered in the occupation: "member of the Wehrmacht".) 2
