9 03 The exhibition on "Die entartete Kunst" proved that the former Germany also suffered from it. On this occasion, we remember some of our earlier films, some of the works of our homeland, so-called art monuments of certain directions, and I like to remember the numerous exceptions in which people who are fysically and morally different were often honored, and in which the darkest sides of human life, even if they sometimes seem to be necessary, were put in the most favorable light possible. Convicts, prostitutes and pimps, nouns and day thieves, criminals and other law-abiding individuals of all kinds occur among all peoples, but by their very nature they are merely dishonorable exceptions. However, thanks to the degenerate art, it seemed as if such individuals would make up an important, or at least important, part of our people. It is not surprising that such a people did not want to engage. As a further imported and well-kept unwinned property, the fact that the term "humanity and compassion" of the often illegal person and irregular members of the community was used. With all the comforts equipped crime, on which the good citizen must pay, as well as a relatively great mildness in the punishment of habitual criminals and people's pests were and are still in place. As a result of incorrect leadership at the time of democracy and a flawed education of that time, the previously completely unknown double face as well as a related dissipation in the inner conviction and a credulity of some Czech men appear.
