105 da eaa Fernruf Nr.1o. Zl.: 991 pres. December 20, 1941. To the Ministry of the Interior Department K in Pr.g. Subject: Control of grain harvest. Z.4000/1664/41 K. With reference to the instructions given, I would like to report as follows: the checks were carried out in the local district exactly according to the established programme in the prescribed 20 municipalities; 8 agricultural objects were revised each day. On the first day, the negotiations of the commissions were clearly extended to the late hours of the night because of the novelty of the matter, but they always kept the course of events and the Commissions have consistently acted objectively in strict compliance with the instructions given. I was personally convinced by the fact that the two groups had been reviewed in the municipalities of Hetlin and Neschkareditz at the time when the members of the commission were instructed, as well as in the general preliminary instructions of the farmers, that the Verbandsrevident Watzke has proved particularly effective and has thus made a significant contribution to the smooth implementation of the action. Of the 40 audit findings, 25 are unrequited. In a further l3 cases, very small differences in the quantities of cereals reported and secured were ensured, on the other hand, smaller quantities of products declared incorrectly, but even more so before the revision to compulsory delivery, the full quantity in question was carried out, so that the incorrect notification appears more than a lack of form. In some cases, small quantities of feed have not been declared, which were not eligible for the delivery obligation, since the farmer has the right to feed them. Only in two cases is this non-registration of a total product quantity of 1 297 kg or 350 kg, where the compulsory delivery would experience a Kirzung, in the first case 436 kg wheat and in the second case 136 kg barley. Pronounced sales, i.e. intentional hide-outs of stocks, were not ensured, although the suspicious ones were taken into account when selecting the farmers to be re-examined. Other violations of the supply regulations were also not ensured; only the farmer Wenzel Rezler in Malin found 3o kg of pre-war soap, according to which the necessary surveys were initiated.
