STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 1981, sig. 109-6/73
English Translation
28a For 8o square meters large apartments - as well as /in the Reich - there is no particularly large demand in the protectorate, in Prague even a whole number of such apartments is available for rent. On the general faces = points of the Reich government in the area of housing policy the rents for housing candidates must be bearable, they must not exceed /5 of net income. However, an 8o sq.m. apartment will come with normal financing and use= the loan funds of the Protectorate government with the current total production costs (ground, 66283 ground and construction costs ) to at least around RM 5o.-- to RM 6o..-. In order to be able to bear the rent, the apartment candidate would have to have a net income of about RM 25o. In the case of known income conditions in the Protectorate there would therefore be few persons seeking housing who can carry such a rent. From this point of view it is therefore not acceptable to increase the allowed living space of the individual apartments from 52 to 8o square meters.
