English Translation

(d) travel for other personal or family reasons, such as serious illness of one's own, illness of a relative to the second degree, and in the case of deaths of such relatives. Where public transport is to be used in carrying out such a journey, this shall be noted in the certificate of approval. The use of Droshken and car rental is fundamentally irrelevant; however, it can exceptionally be granted to German-born family members who are disabled by doctors, midwives, severely disabled persons, in particular those suffering from war, seriously ill persons and companions of people with disabilities or bodies. Jews are generally excluded in air transport. In principle, Jews are excluded from transport on bus and coach lines if there is another means of transport (roadway, rail) available. Certificates must be issued free of charge according to model A. In the case of collective transports (work use, etc.), a collective certificate may be issued. The forms must be requested from the Security Police (Central Office for Jewish Emigration) officer. Permission to leave the residential community and to use means of transport must normally be granted only for the individual case, with precise determination of the duration and the local area.
