Subject: Oskar Wöhrle: Jan.Hus.Der letzte Tag". Verlag "Der Bücherkreis" GmbmH. l932. By the reference in the Czech press releases No. 167 of the publication office of 28.6.l940 I got knowledge of the aforementioned book. The translation reads: "Lidové Noviny": No.272 of 1.6.40 The German author of a Hus novel is distinguished. The University of Freiburg awarded the Erwin von Steinbach- Literaturpreis to the writer Oskar Wöhrle, who was born in St. Ludwig (Elsass) and now lives in Freiburg. The book has already been translated in 933 by Karl Kalláb under the title "Jan Hus. Posledni den". Historický román. in the publishing house "Druzstevni práce", Prague (332 pages, 27.- Kronen). The translation was published in the series "Zivé knihý A" as l00th volume and volume '6 of the ll. year. From the fact that the book is in any case still to be borrowed in state libraries without difficulty, I take it that the Book is still available in the Reich, in the Protectorate or in Czech places. Therefore, I allow myself to draw your attention to this book. Of course, in my statement I only go
