14 2 Transfer to the university or the technical college in Prague, plays a certain role. I believe that the agricultural college Tetschen-Liebwerd belongs as a faculty to the University and not only because I am obliged as rector to work for a university. More important are the following reasons : The only argument, which can possibly be invoked for a transfer to the Technical University, is the outdated fact that Tetschen-Liebwerd in an Austrian relationship, resp. czech time once heard of the Technical University, as far as this could become practical at the spatial distance at all; it is also considered by experts who have studied even in Tetschen-Liebwerd as a cause for the retention of Tetchen-Liebwerd. In the Reich, the agricultural faculties are now with a single exception, which has its special reasons, (see below) at the universities, among other things, because of their inner connection with the other teaching and research areas of the University, A number of independent agricultural universities (e.g. In recent years, Berlin a.a. has been affiliated as a faculty to the University (not to the Technical University in Berlin). The reasons for this are also valid for Prague. Also in connection with the integration of Tetschen-Liebwerd into the University of Prague, the fact that the majority of all fields of study which a agricultural faculty needs are already present at the university will have to be of decisive importance. These include zoology, botany, animal physiology of farming and land law, folk science, especially agricultural policy, etc. etc. As much as I can see at the moment, there is only an agricultural faculty in Munich at the Technical University. This is explained by the fact that this faculty is equipped with so many chairs that it has most of the agriculturally important chairs itself.
