bl 7. Bulletin of the work report of the primator deputy for the period from 1/10.- to 31/12.1943. EOSTEer BOTT THE PRIMATORSTELL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MAIN CITY PRAG. DHOoL By this doctor the entire tuberculosis control in Prague is to be summarized and reoriented. Since the development of tuberculosis care is also very desirable for the rural districts of Bohemia, the city's main health office considered it its self-evident duty to make its special facilities and experiences available in this area to the official doctors of the country of Bohemia. A service meeting of these doctors was primarily dedicated to the topic "Combating tuberculosis" and was contested by the doctors of the city's main health office. Likewise, in the tuberculosis hospital of the "Bulowka" and in the urban tuberculosis care centers, three weekly courses are held for those carers from the rural districts who have to manage tuberculosis care centres without being specialists in tuberculosis. The former children's homes in Reuth are now operated almost exclusively as health centers for tubercular children. In its framework, a German department was set up, as in the tuberculosis hospital of the "Bulowka" After large raids on workers texsbreivdoa were each presented to the secret state police of the investigation department several hundred laborers for the purpose of medical examination of their work-related liability. - On the basis of the decree of the Ministry of the Interior of 9./7.1942 on the control of venereal diseases, the obligation to report on the venetal disease was ordered. From the results of 1943 it is now possible to check its practical implementation. During this period, 1 036 men and 971 women, 2,007 together, and 525 men, 704 women, 1,229 together, 3,236 newly ill men, were reported to suffer from the disease. Since this figure is well below that found in other major German cities, measures will be taken to encourage the authorities to comply with their obligation to report.- A new organisational and business distribution plan has just been drawn up for the Central Welfare Office on the basis of the Schmidt plan, which will shortly be approved by 239548.
