To make a pair of lace-up shoes and to present them for evaluation to the police procurement office in Prague. Ulehla is a protectorate member and employed in his craft business ll persons. The pair of shoe-up-shoes was satisfactory. Am ll. Major von Dittersdorf called the police department in Prague and, in my absence, spoke to the Pol.Secretary Haas on the matter of Ulehla. Major vonDittersdorf asked why Ulehla had not yet been ordered to supply footwear. Major von Dittersdorfvdar über unterstanden, dass an Ulehla has not yet been awarded a delivery contract and informed that he will report it to the Lord General Daluege. Major vonDittersdorf ordered that a delivery order should be issued to Ulehla immediately, so that Ulehlla will not be deprived of the labour force. In the event of the forgiveness of public procurement contracts in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, the central public procurement office in Prague II, Švehla-Ufer 6, must be involved and agree to do so. I have obtained this approval on the basis of the far= oral order of the Major of Dittersdorf from the ll.5.1942 far= orally and verbally at the Central Office for Public Contracts (Mr. Rössler), but Mr. Roessler was not aware of the fact that a police = order on footwear is awarded to a Czech shoemaker master. Mr Rössler said that a supply order to a business should be made by the Central Association of Craftsmen and that there are also enough German companies capable of performing the police orders. Due to the strict telephonic order of the Major of Dittersdorf, I asked Ulehla for approval for a trial order on l.ooo pair of lace-up shoes for the police on l.6.l942 in writing at the Central Office for Public Contracts in Prague. I stated in this letter that the order was given by the chief of the police officer General Daluege. The Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Moravia - Central Office for Public Orders - did not give permission to grant the orders to the shoemaker master Ulehla by letter of 2l.7.1942 No.Z.VII 42-Ru and ordered that the order of the Trojanek company be overwritten, which also happened. I reported this in writing to the Chief of the Order Police on 21.8.1942. By decree of 21 September 1942, the Chief of the Police of Order (Kdo. I W (2) 101 d No. 326/42) took note of this report.
