Vnseiaufkaufsamt Prague Prague, February 5, 1943. St. report concerning the forgiveness of a delivery order to the shoemaker= master Stanislaus Ulehla in Moravian-Weißkirchen. The supply column of the order police (Major von Dittersdorf) has secured a larger number of untanned hides in the eastern regions= and handed over to the following companies for tanning: a) Lederfabrik A.G. (b) Anton Jelinek & Sohn in Groß-Meseritsch and (c) Gebr. Krcmar in Brno. The chief of the police has decreed by decree of the l3.2.l942 -O-Kdo. II W (2) 10l d No.59/42 that all handed over hides are state property and after tanning may only be taken over by the police officer Prague. These hides may not be handed over by the companies to other persons, not even to members of the supply column who have delivered the hides. On 19 February 19942, Major von Dittersdorf telephoned me and informed me that he did not agree with the content of the decree and stated that it was the wish of Mr. General Daluege to hand the = this leather over to the shoemaker master Stanislaus Ulehla in Moravian-White= kirohen for the production of police shoes. As a result, because at the handover of the skins of the above-mentioned 3 companies the order was given by the supply column, that the leather will have the supply colon, in the Hauptant Ordnungspolizei Berlin, Abt. W (Oberstltn. Volkhammer) on 19.2.l942 telephonically asked whether the decree of l3.2.l 942 is maintained or changed. Obersteln. Volkhammer has offered me an examination of the matter and an announcement of the decision. By decree of the Chief of the Police of 21.3.1942 -O-Kdo. II W (2) 10l d No.59 IV/42 it was decided that the order of 13.2.1942, 0-KDo. IIW (2) 10 l d No 59/42, must still apply to the handling of the skin matter. It was said in the decree that the chief of the police is ready to order Ulehla in Moravian-Weißkirchen for the supply of footwear, if it is able to produce police shoes for Wachtm (SB). On 17.3.1942 I ordered the master shoemaker Ulehlla to report on the performance, etc., of this company.
