The cases in which this condition is deemed to be met are listed in detail on page 20 of the circular annexed to the annex. 3.) If today more bicycles are still used for recreational purposes, the majority of cases will be workers who have received initial or replacement equipment for professional purposes, or those who already had a bicycle when the reference certificate was introduced in October 1 940. This assumption is also supported by the fact that cycling has always been very popular among young people in the profession of protectorate and that, therefore, countless bicycles were already in the possession of the population when the reference obligation was introduced. If the bicycle is used for professional purposes every day, it has been expected that it will last 3 years. If a bicycle is only used for recreational purposes on Sundays or during holidays, the service life of the tyre will naturally increase considerably. In such cases, it can be expected that a tyre with good care lQ will last up to l5 years.
