Appendix 1 Aus szug from the provisions on the replacement of fees for letters sent by Reich authorities. I. Participating authorities The replacement procedure for the Reich involves those authorities which will keep unnecessarily from the budget of the Reich and have a seal of service with the emblem of the Empire. II. External identification of the consignments. The consignments must be marked by the lettering authorities, which can be made by hand, by book printing or by stamp, and placed on the label side of the consignment - if possible in the lower left corner. It must read: "Free by replacement Reich". Below the replacement note, the stamp of the seal of service of the sending authority shall be placed. IIIt Detachment fees. The replacement includes all mail in local and long-distance transport, namely letters, postcards, printed matter, blanks, commercial papers, samples of goods, mixed consignments and packages, including letters of value, registered letters and correspondence. IV. Fees excluded from the replacement. All other fees are excluded from the replacement, e.g. (e) the postal charges for consignments addressed to the authorities, unless the sender himself is entitled to use the replacement note; etc. etc., it is necessary for the authorities to request envelopes and fost cards, for example, which have been marked in advance with the removal note and the printing of their service seal, to be made available to other authorities, civil servants or private persons, e.g.: The fees not covered by the replacement are to be paid in accordance with the general rules.
