333-thr Pressburg, don Oct.44 AhA Horr Presiding Committee 1 On points IV and IX - XI of the Treaty concerning the supply of Dcutshon Vehrmacht in Slovakia from today's day, I have the honour to inform Himon folgondes: The Treaty provisions mentioned above are intended to ensure that one on the one hand Slovakia's economic strength is fully used to satisfy the needs of the German army, but on the other hand that the capacity of the economy to supply the civil sector is maintained, the Treaty provisions therefore normize by Slovakia in the interest of a concerted struggle: war efforts, as far as the needs are concerned of the german troops employed in Slovakia. The nature and quantity of the goods required for this purpose may be indicated in advance, precisely, in the form of lists, because this is an extremely large number of different objects and because the requirements of the troops vary according to the situation of the war. Nevertheless, in order to ensure the maintenance of Slowa kei's economic power and civilian supplies in the interests of both parts of the contract, the requirements of the troop economy should be constantly coordinated with the possibilities provided for its satisfaction. This task will be entrusted to a German-Slovak Commission, which includes: A. on the German side Handelsattaché von Schulmann, Forstattaché Iandforstmeister Dr. Wechselberger, Dr. Hamscha as representative of the German government committee, Hauptmann Dr. Glatz, Oberstabsintendant Escher as representative for the German Wehrmacht.
