16a 4 of course the full 8.-K, since as stated above, so far nothing was paid by the small farmers at all. If this situation is objectively assessed, it must be admitted that this arrangement is a very favourable solution for agriculture in the Protectorate, especially since the effective and understanding involvement of the Supreme Prei- zation and the insightful attitude of the Ministry of Finance in agriculture gave a gift in a form which can only be justified by the eminent social importance of the accident insurance reform in agriculture. The fact that the remaining amount of 8.-K per hectare, even in the case of the current price structure in agriculture, can be borne without hesitation is not only due to the fact that an amount of this amount has been described as acceptable in an official meeting with the heads of the Land Association of Agriculture and Forestry in Moravia, but also because the minimum contribution for the statutory accident insurance of 9.- K per hectare is levied in the Sudetengau, whose agriculture has to work under much less favourable conditions.
