Health insurance benefits for the removal of hardships For the elimination of hardship caused by the war-continences, I determine the following: 1. German and national members of an institution of foreign health insurance and their relatives who live in the German Neich and are not members of a wealthy health insurance fund receive benefits from the Reich if they are entitled to benefits from foreign sickness insurance which are not granted under the present circumstances. 2. The benefits are to be granted by the General Local Health Insurance Fund or, in the event of a non-contributory grant from the Land Health Insurance Office, in whose district the sick person resides. 3. Membership of a foreign health insurance institution and the right to benefits against it shall be made credible in an appropriate manner. 4. 5. There is no legal right to benefits. 6. In the case of medical compensation, the Neichsverband agree on the details with the German Association of Cash Offices, the German Society of Cash Insurance and the Reichsverband Deutscher Dentisten. 7. The benefits must be paid by the sickness insurance funds in advance and must be booked in particular. The necessary funds must be requested by the Reichsverbande at the Reich Insurance Office according to its detailed provision.
