42o 128 Guidelines for the Return of the Neichs Germans and the Migration of the People's Germans from the Alto Adige to the German Empire First Section Provisions on Persons 1. These guidelines include the Reichsdeutschen or Volksdeutschen, which live in the territories mentioned in paragraph 2, and the Volksdeutscher, which come from these territories, as well as for certain questions the Reich Germans, which are more detailed in paragraph 23. 2. The areas covered by these directives (contractual territory) are: the Province of Bolzano; the mixed-language area of Egna (Probination Trento); the mixed language area of Cortina d'Ampezzo (Probinz Belluno); the multi-lingual area of Tarvisio (Provinz Udine). 3. The return of Reich Germans is mandatory. 4. The emigration of people Germans is voluntary. 5. The return and detour must be carried out by the "Official German Immigration and Repatriation Sites" (ADEURSt.) to be built in Bolzano, Merano, Bressanone, Brunico, Vipiteno as well as in other places as required. In Bolzano the main office of the ADEUNSt. is established. The Reichsdeutschen is free to choose their home in the German Reich. For the People's Germans, a closed settlement in the Deutsche Reich is provided as far as possible. 7. The return migration of the Reich Germans is to be carried out in principle within three months from the date of publication of these guidelines.
