inistera SINGLE STAB II 28. NOV. 1944 Prague 27.11.44 Eng./Ki. Report Betr.: Furniture sales to the Willy May Pardubitz family. At the beginning of Oct. 1944 I received from the office in Prague the furniture sales license for the May family. After the family had contacted me, I asked them to the furniture warehouse Autopavillon Hey-drich-Park, where they should choose the approved furniture pieces. A few days later, Mr. and Mrs. May appeared in the camp. I showed them my stock, from which they chose the best furnishings, without asking for the prices when buying them. It was a matter of course for me, because I knew that Mr. May was severely war-ridden to serve him with particular care. So I also worked to ensure that instead of the approved runners he received the desired carpet from the staff II. I also obtained the approval of a couch that was not included in the purchase request. I had this couch polished up in my camp by the carpenter employed there. The delivery notes I issued with prices from our treasurer were signed by Mrs May without any complaint and I was told that one was very satisfied. To my greatest surprise, I had to drive some time later that Mr May had written a letter of complaint to Prague and had asked his wife, who had already been supplied by the Einsatzstelle II, to have her furniture re-evaluated, because they were too expensive. Mrs May pretends to be a former criminal officer, who would have the special order to uncover similar cases. In the extent to which their information is based on truth, the criminal police is reserved for clarification. I am not willing to let accusations such as own price fixing etc. sit on me Row.d.Sch.D.Res. (Engelbracht)
