17 Anyone who made a political assessment at the turn of the year 1938/39 could see that the leader/around this time/the historical process of the German unification movement of the 19th century has completed. The German national state, which was closed and filled with new power, had emerged, but only in the historical form of the state. The National Socialist Revolution had reached its second important stage after 30 January 1933. The leader now gathered the forces for the further path. The new section began with the establishment of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. In a deeper and special sense, the R e i c h was proclaimed on the old German imperial castle in Prague on 1 March 1939.
