159 stiffening are walled out /Finishing period about 3 weeks/. 7./ a/ An alarm system to trigger the operating air alarm - has been installed in the mentioned time b/ A mobile centrifugal pump was purchased for the removal of extinguishing water 4 from the existing 4 wells in case of damage to the road pipe of the water pipe. c/ 20 accumulators were purchased. 8./ By taking over four LS cover trenches at Karlsplatz with a total capacity for 7o0 people, the question of air-protection-related accommodation of visitors and listeners is solved. 9./ LS beds were provided for the LS rooms, allowing all patients and nursing staff a longer stay in LS room. lo./ Precautions were taken for the sluggishest discharge of the disabled in case of need, in order to allow the reception of about 500 injured persons within one hour. It can be seen from the accompanying overview of the air protection accommodation of the following persons and the sick inmates /Appendix 3/ that the air safety accommodation of all persons of the German University Hospitals is currently guaranteed. The existing LS rooms are marked in the enclosed location plan /AppENDIX 2/ yellow, the LS operating rooms red. The air fleet physician, Oberstabsarzt Ostermaier, took a tour of the LS construction measures taken in the German university hospitals on the ll. 2. l944 and gave instructions for further precautions and measures, which are apparent from the attached official note /Appendix 4/.
