The commander of the Crdnungspolizei Prague, 15 January 1942. at the Reichsprötektor in Bohemia and Moravia Adj. - Maw order for the day No. 2. Carrying firearms by members of the police in the Protoktorat. With the abolition of all the above-related orders I order the following with regard to the transport of firearms by officers of the police in the Protectorate: A) The carrying and carrying of fire-arms in the service is ordered by means of dispensations against orders of the presiding officers. (b) The following principle shall apply to the use of firearms for military service: "Since any member of the police may be involved in the operation of fire-arms. In order to enforce its order and to protect it personally, the use of firearms out of service shall also be permitted." The following shall be observed: a.) The police officer shall intervene out of duty only if there is a danger in delay or if the acquisition of a local uniformed protectorate officer would constitute the desired success of the police in Prague. (b) The firearm may only be used if the order for service on the use of the police officers permits it. (c) The police officer shall bear full responsibility for the application of the firearm; an abuse shall result in criminal and discriminating consequences. d General Officer (SB) up to the master only (including drivers) if they wear a gun out of duty in uniform
