Already in September l940 the "National Aid" was deliberately independent and made independent from NG. Special circulars had called on officials, who also held post of official of the NG in Personal Union, to resign from their NG function. This separation between NG and "national assistance" was achieved at the time with knowledge of the main management of NG, because the Ministry of the Interior had approved the collections of "national aid" only on the condition of such a factual and personal independence. In Czech circles, this detachment from NG was at that time also another important factor.
