UKRAINIC CONFIDENCE IN THE GERMAN SERIES, PRAGUE. . PRAG XIL, SCHWERINSTRASSE 6. T. 38. FERNRUF: 229-25. VI/2022/43. Number: Prague 27. October : Moara Ministera To His Excellency 29. OCT. 1943 Mr Minister of State and Head of Group K.H. Frank ${2/\}$ Excellency We allow ourselves to politely submit to Your Excellencies the following request: After the clearing of the eastern regions by the German trup- pen for the purpose of shortening the front, a large part of the Ukrainian population had to move after the hesitant. A small part of it came after the protectorate. After their temporary stay in Prague about 2l at the base of Prague the Ukrainian trust office in evidence led Ukrainians and Ukrainians were demanded by the Prague police president to leave the protectorate and to go to the Eastern Mark. The list is enclosed, allowing us to add that it is mostly people who worked closely with the German services in Ukraine and who received letters of recognition from the German authorities and even awards, which they can prove with relevant evidence. These Ükrainers couldn't stay at home in order not to have to expose themselves to safe death. All of them came to Prague with properly issued identification documents. Some of them have closer relatives here, with whom they can stay. The number of these refugees is so small that one can't talk about a flow of refugees at all. They are therefore not a social problem for the Protectorate, especially since almost all of them are looking for work, even some have found the same. Despite their tiny number, any further transport of these refugees means a further verification of the authorities and means of transport already burdened with work. The Ukrainian Trust Office is firmly convinced that these refugees are completely harmless and that they do not pose a threat to the public safety of the Protectorate. On the basis of the above reasons, we ask these people, if they are already here, to continue to remain in the protectorate. In the hope that our angechen will be addressed, nit draws sincere thanks the * Statyp Deneter Beronari by Novosilec Peag Der atpcoun tlbiter. YeTa St.M.65b/43
