Copies of the German Federal Post Minister Berlin, 26 July 1543 IV 8017 - 0/1 G Bfb 5539 g To the Presidents of the RPDa, RPZ, RPF, PSA, the Directors of Rdr and the Sthw Immediately! Secret! Staff for the Homeland Flak The head of the party law firm has now agreed to this (letter of 20.7.1943 II M Az. 36 Tgb.No. 499/43 g) that the selection of the members of the DRP to the homeland flag must be made from the following points of view: "1.) All employees in the telecommunications service of the Deutsche Reichspost are excluded from the recruitment to the short-term military service in the home flag. 2.) For the forces employed in the post office department (including the motor vehicle service) a general exemption from the Heranzie- hung zur-Heimatflak cannot be granted. These forces should be spared as far as possible. The scale for the decision, to what extent individual post offices or individual forces can be excluded, is primarily the personnel situation at the home flat. These exceptions must be regulated under the responsibility of the Gauleiter according to the Führer's order of 2.12.42 locally with the Reichspostdirektion concerned. 3.) The members of the German Reichspost, who are working in the purely administrative service, are, like the other people, used for short-term military service in the Homeland Flak. Selection of the forces from the Reichs Post for the operation, the Home Flak is carried out according to the Führer's decree of 2 December 1942 and the execution regulations of the head of the Party Chancellery of 29 June 1942. 12.42. The procedure is the same as for the members of the other authorities." In the area of the DRP, the procedure is to be followed. For the Vienna State Printing Plant, the RPD Vienna has to take the necessary action. P.d. R.dififf On behalf of Dr. Kö r n e r.
