107 - 3 - Pushers, especially from workers' circles. In the OLB Iglau, one is outraged in Czech conservative and clerical circles about the large number of death sentences and calls this method almost Bolshevik. In detail, Czech workers in the Olb Iglu approved the execution of the persons leading in the Moragro Snrhorsky and Frydrych. In the OLB of Brno, Czech workers are satisfied that so far only a few workers have directed the people from the ranks, but mainly against the pests in the upper strata. Similarly, the other harsh measures for the prevention of economic maladministration and the sharp action against Jews and Jewish friends are discussed favourably mainly in the lower social divisions of the Czech people. In OLB Klattau, for example, the extension of the labelling obligation to Aryan married Jews in large Czech circles has caused satisfaction, while in OLB Tabor, Czech intellectual circles (especially teachers) call the new regulation a harsh one. According to a report from OLB Jitschin, the Jews themselves are strongly intimidated by the various measures directed against them. From the OLB Budweis it is reported that the sharp fight against the trade in fruit has an important effect on the supply of fruit; the deliveries, which have been very sparse so far, are now often so extensive that the cooperatives have little place to store the fruit delivered. In the Olb Pilsen it was noted that since 28.9. the previously frequent delays of workers' trains no longer occur. In the district of Blatna (OLB Klattau), the rural population only takes care of their field work and is rapidly and without stocking the delivery of cereals and potatoes; in the municipality of Oberlaas, which made a short time ago possible escapes with regard to potato delivery, even more potatoes were delivered than required. In Mirotitz (OLB Klattau), the Czech millers are once again very careful and no longer dare to deliver the smallest amount of flour without a licence; the Pleischer also tell their customers that they would no longer sell a gram of meat without tickets. - 4 -
