Some time ago, the rector had sent a circular letter to all university teachers, to whom I had decided that Zatschek had now been assigned to the university history. Since the rector had also asked me to take care of the funding of this work by the Reinhard Heydrich Foundation, I was of the opinion that the history of the university was no longer the task of a commission of the Academy of Sciences, but of the National History Institute of Zatschek. Magnificence Buntru told me in the interview that the assignment to Zachek could not be interpreted in the above sense, although he also believed that the academic profession was actually not the right place for university history and would probably not succeed in carrying out this task.
