22 10 Recently, there have been more cases where Czechs in the community. Branowitz (Bez.Brünn-Land) buy a few small things with the local businessmen, pay with large Reichsbanknotte and explicitly demand Czech money back. The Czech officials of the dairy industry in Göding, on their own initiative, carried out a butter collection action in favour of the wounded of Stalingrad, in which they asked all self-sufficient persons, by means of a circular, to participate in this action without obligation. In response to every expectation, all self-sufficiencys of l8 municipalities, all Czechs and Moravian Slovaks, were ready for this action. A total of 2 500 kg of butter was delivered. Of this successful action, the Böhm.-Märt.Verband für Milch und Fate was informed and asked for permission to collect the collected quantity of butter at the disposal of the hospitals. Here it was pointed out that the self-providers could not use the butter in their own household anyway, but rather sell it to the city's population in the secret trade. In addition, self-sufficiency was largely covered by the domestic slaughters in January, so that there were no concerns from this side either. The Czech official of the association, Director Ing. Fuksa, however, rejected this project and motivated his point of view by the fact that such things cannot be done with war-managed goods. The dairy industry had to return the collected butter to the self-providers to their greatest astonishment. From statements made by senior employees of the dairy industry, it was clear that they expected that the association would evaluate this action propagandistically and encourage all self-providers to do so. The company Bata in Zlin intends to set up a department for the supervision of the Czech followers who were recruited to work in the Reich and to publish a Czech magazine for them. Recently in Kolin it was possible to observe differently that many Czech businessmen reluctantly accept German money. Germans, who pay with larger banknotes, mostly receive only German money back. On 16.2. the company Lada in Sobieslau was assigned 40 women as new workers, The farm manager said that he did not know at all what to do with these forces, since he had no work for them. The Czech rural population in the political district of Chrudim is disobeyed by the choice made by the Federation of Agriculture and Forestry of its functions. - 1l -
