English Translation
2 - R. Kreisler, Dresden A 16, Comeniusstraße 4l. - Letter of 23 March I was placed under police supervision by the authorities and was ordered to report; there was no admission to the Czech Army, I was even demoted to the common. Unemployed, politically disenfranchised, dependent on the support of my impoverished relatives, every step under control, I was forced to emigrate to Germany, where I finally found work and bread in March 1920. Having been dismissed from military service in December 1988 without any remuneration or compensation and degraded without reason, I hereby apply for appropriate compensation. As a special hardship I say that I was without merit from the end of l9l8 to March 192O and was protected from hunger by my brothers and sisters, who had to live in modest conditions by the overthrow itself. Even after I found work here in Germany, I had to fight for a long time with economic difficulties because of the low earnings and because I was out of the middle, and only gradually came into orderly conditions. I ask for your notice to the above address. With German greeting! ImMy 401 8088
