I refer to the decree of the Lord Reichsprotector in the above decree sheet and hereby make the request for the granting of compensation. On December 2nd, according to the letter of the military commando Leitmeritz (see Anla- ge) I should report to the command of the prisoner of war camp in Brux. It did not happen anymore, because these days the Czechs occupied the Sudetenland. During a walk in the city I was cut down by the uniform the rank badges and in order to be able to enter the street at all, I had to ask for an exhibition of a passer-by. I received it on Dec. 1st. l8. These entered conditions made it impossible for me to take up my service in the prisoner camp.
