29 CANCELLATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE STATE According to all the departments, applications for promotion are being prepared for the birth of the President of the Republic, i.e. on 1 July 1943. Whereas, in respect of its staff, requests for appointments have been drawn up and submitted to the Office of the Imperial Protector; whereas the selection of the requested staff has been carried out with all due care; Only persons belonging to the lower categories and groups of employees have been taken into account and who, in view of their services and their overall behaviour, are indeed worthy of promotion.
