Marie Nálevka,Olmütz-Salzergut,Salzerguterstrassse No. 42. 40 Olmütz on 23 March 1942. His High-Wohlborn 4/01 to Mr. KARLHERMANNFRANK, State Secretary and Ss Group Leader in Prague. I would like to make a sincere request that my husband,JOSEF NÁLEVKA (born on 3l.X.l902), be kindly ordered to dispose of the detention of officials of the Zora chocolate and sugar factory. The person named, who was held liable on 8thx.l942 in Olmütz, is currently interned in the Auschwitz concentration camp under the terms of No.26.256. With the same post I have allowed myself to submit to the Reichs-Hauptsicherheitsamt in Berlin a request for dismissal, in which I have permitted to cite the following: My guess is that the reason for my husband's arrest and intervention is to be sought in the fact that the named person has been a member and official of the dissolved gymnastics club Sokol. But I would kindly like to take into consideration that he was merely a cashier of the branch of Salzergut, i.e. only a function in which he did not have any powers of a rga- nizional nature,in a branch which had been entirely insignificant and which had not many members.
