To offer the Tsghechen a handle for this, it was attempted by paid provocateurs and spies from the German camp, even from the ranks of the SdP itself, to direct officials of this party to criminal acts of anti-state character. A particularly popular means was that such a spy paid by the Czechs against Sdp administrators turned out to be a spy in favour of the German Reich and then, if the subject did not file a complaint, one carried out an espionage procedure against it.- By the accumulation of such cases it was hoped to be able to prove the SdP as such anti-state activity and thus to obtain a hand to ban the same authority. For this reason, the head of the SdP at that time issued instructions to the circuit leaders and district leaders, in which they were warned against such provocateurs and were ordered to hand them over immediately to the gendarmerie. The admission of the accused, in the case of Sheikhenost, immediately had the feeling that it was a matter of such provocation, is therefore completely credible, all the more so when the accused knew neither the Sheikhenost nor the Kunz, and also how it could not be rebutted, the force was not particularly reliable. Moreover, it is already unthinkable for the SdP to consider the meritorious and unselfish deeds (-it of the accused, for the sake of the SDP, that he knew when the order was given to Kunz for the restitution of information, or that he only expected the possibility that Scheichenost actually works for the German intelligence service and therefore is not a provocateur. However, he must be accused of acting a little hasty and unconsidered, and of not first investigating the person of the uninformed Sheikh. This negligent behaviour of the accused, taking into account the particular situation and his undoubtedly existing ethnic merits, cannot be so hard charged to him that it would require punishment. On the basis of this situation, the deputy director refused to submit a request for a procedure against the accused, which is why the proceedings had to be closed. To be served: 1./ Accused - 2./ Deputy Head of Administration. 26818 The Head of the Office: Official seal, e.g. Streubbel. toc
