D r a b ek was a teacher in the Austro-Hungarian army at the military cadets school in Prague. During World War II he fought for some time at the front, where he was supposed to have proven himself very well. Politically, D. is described as not consolidated. During the existence of the Danube monarchy he pretended to be German and spoke only German, but after the overthrow he knew himself as Czech and was supposed to have been Benesch friendly.
