62 State Police Headquarters in Prague, 2 January 1940 B.No. 54/55/39 g - II BM Report : MMMI Subject: "Narodni odboj" The ongoing investigations have essentially confirmed the presentation given in the first report of the organization, work and follow-up objectives of the "Na Rodni oDboj". The most remarkable of the further development of the process in the meantime is the increase of the clues and the strengthening of the missing, that the highest peaks of the autonomous protectorate government knew of the existence and activity of this illegal organization and have driven a political double game. It will be extremely difficult to verify the documents available for this purpose and to determine whether and to what extent they correspond to the facts; the new results will be reported as follows: I. Political organization. For the purpose of questioning questions raised here, the liaison between the Moravian Political Committee and the Central Political Committee established by R a s i n, which was arrested by the State Police Department in Brno, was transferred for some time after this. After prior instruction, he was given a cellmate, who was able to induce him to smuggle illegal messages out of it. Thus, two letters of the R i c t e r were collected for his wife to a cover address, which brought revealing rich information. According to the contents of these letters, R i c h t e r claims that the Prime Minister E l i a s and a large part of the government - if not all - knew about the illegal activity and tolerated it. R i t e s further claims that E l a s also had ties with the military group.
