In the same way, those who have acquired Czechoslovak citizenship, the state ownership of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia or Slovakia after 28 October l938 and to which the provision of § 2 does not refer. The Ministry of the Interior decides on the request. This authority may declare that the applicant is to be regarded as a Czechoslovak citizen until the final decision has been taken, and that this declaration may be revoked at any time. Those whose request is rejected cannot otherwise acquire Czechoslovakian citizenship. §8 As strangers, those who do not enter the military associations, who fight alongside the allies, despite the invitation of the leadership of the defense struggle abroad, and despite the threat of loss of citizenship are considered. § 9 1) Women who belong to persons listed in § 1, 2 and 3 and who are married to a man who is included in § 5 and 7 may seek the recognition of Czechoslovak citizenship. 2) Recognition cannot be withheld from them if they live in the country, if their marriage is divorced or if they have been permanently abandoned by their husbands, and if they are widows and there is no established fear that they will be non-reliable citizens. 3) If the marriage is divorced or if the women are widows, the granting of citizenship can also be extended to children who are not yet older,
