Hereby I can refer to a treatise of the newspaper "Die Zeit" published just these days /30.8.1940/, in which it is again stated that in the twenty years of Czech state independence no Czech group has had so much courage and foresight to represent and defend the program and politics of friendship with the Germans. I add that this very programme of cooperation with the Germans was missing above all from the group "Vlajka", which, on the contrary, was known in public life at that time as a re-presentant of radical Czech chauvinism and which, for example, has waged a sharp struggle against all German aspirations, as always, in the question of the universal insignia.
