96 -2- the Soviet Union's non-communist network, in which, as with the Czech resistance movement, numerous illegal transmitters were seized, achieved a very significant success. The broad-based Czech resistance movements can now be regarded as largely done by state police measures. However, it has been replaced by an even more dangerous, considerably smaller organization, whose activity focuses on the maintenance of an illegal intelligence apparatus and the preparation of sabotage files. The fighting and perseverance of the officials of this reduced resistance movement was particularly evident from the behaviour of a recently arrested former Czech officer, who, despite his own wound, managed to make it difficult and easy to hurt two beantes of the secret state police. In the field of Czech domestic policy, a marked decline in the intrigued activity of the Czech government following the resignation of the former Minister of Transport and the director of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic Dr Havelka.
