2 With regard to the autumn holidays, I would like to point out that after the decree on this year's harvest from May 11, 1943 - III a 12 00 - only pupils over 14 years of age are eligible for local and foreign use. Should this be necessary for the older pupils in autumn, a longer break must be avoided, so that the younger pupils who are not involved in this effort lose unnecessarily teaching time in the autumn, especially since for these younger pupils due to a lack of plumbing, longer breaks in the winter are of the greatest damage. One of the regulations reserved in my decree of 26 February 1943 concerning summer holidays in 1943, paragraph 7, for classes 6 and 7 of the higher schools and class 6 of the middle schools is unnecessary according to the above. The summer holidays should be the same for all classes. As far as the air force and naval workers are concerned, I order that they receive a general break of 3 weeks after the completion of the current training course (15 July). I look forward to your report. This decree does not apply to rural schools. R u s t F.d.R.D.A.: Weber
